FONA is pleased to announce our Chairman & CEO Joseph Slawek has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® award in the Midwest. Awards are given to entrepreneurs in Illinois and Indiana who demonstrate extraordinary success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. “These entrepreneurs make a tremendous difference within our communities and for our larger economy,” said Randy Tavierne, Ernst & Young Partner and Midwest Strategic Growth Markets Leader. “We thank them for the positive impact they’ve had in the Midwest.”

“I am honored and grateful to have been chosen as a finalist for such a prestigious award,” Slawek said. “It supports our founding belief that success comes from pursuing excellence while connecting with our employees, customers and communities in meaningful ways.” Finalists were selected by an independent judging panel made up of regional business, academic and community leaders.
